Mike Maini founded G&G Produce, a food distributer for the hotels in Las Vegas in 1953. Mike provided fresh produce from Los Angeles daily. In 1966 Maini Distributing was formed, delivering  to a diverse customers base that included Universal Match, Neutrogena Soap and Keno Tickets to name a few.  In 1972 Mike died on his way to work and the duties and ownership of Maini Distributing fell on Jeanne Maini.  Jeanne was born in Las Vegas in 1931 and was a graduate of Las Vegas High School.  She brought in a new company trying to make an impact in the quickly growing Las Vegas market and in 1981 Jeanne started answering the Economic Laboratories phone.  We continued to work hand in hand with Ecolab and were the number one rated warehouse in the United States year after year.  As Las Vegas and Ecolab grew so did Maini Distributing, shipping and receiving over a million pounds a month most of which was the "same day" as ordered.

In 2009 after 28 years, Ecolab nationally went to a different method of shipping and storage.  Maini was informed that due to a national decision Ecolab would be handled differently in the Las Vegas area and Maini Distributing was dropped as a distributor. The Company at this time was being run by Linda and Mike Jr., brother and sister, they had been looking for a lower price point product for price sensitive customers.  Swisher Hygiene stood out and was very much like Ecolab.  Swisher employed many of the people that Maini knew from the past that had worked for Ecolab.  The product was the same or better, service the way Ecolab use to be and the price is much lower. In February of 2009, Maini Distributing began a new chapter with Swisher.  Maini has increased Swisher in Las Vegas by 100% and is looking forward to the future.
